Overflow

Overflow Records, nuevo proyecto del colectivo Overflow, nace en su quinto aniversario uniéndose así a las propuestas que durante 5 años han confeccionado Overflow Fest, Overflow Club o Contrastes. Bajo la filosofía de música sugerente sin fecha de caducidad, el 16 de enero salio a la venta la primera referencia del sello en exclusiva durante las 4 primeras semanas en Beatport.

OVF01 “Unwritten Secrets” nombre de la primera referencia, se puede definir como un techno-viaje hacia otra galaxia con toques de dub profundo y atmosférico, perfecto para bailar con la cabeza o cerrar los ojos y dejarse absorber en medio de la pista. Djorvin Clain, quien firma esta tema, es un joven y talentoso belga con una proyección musical de lo más personal e interesante. Obsesionado por un sonido atemporal y profundo, su proyección internacional está en boca de los más entendidos.

El segundo corte viene a cargo de uno de los madrileños que más entiende de cosmos sonoro. Tadeo nos ofrece un delicioso remix, cogiendo del original todo el eco posible, dándole un toque emocional y detroitiano. Techno sin edad y muy maduro para este OVF001.

Con estos dos temas comienza la andadura de Overflow Records que huyendo de las modas nace de la conjunción de ciertos astros musicales. Bajo la estela de la profundidad y la calidad, conecta con artistas de la escena nacional e internacional con un sonido cósmico y de vanguardia. Viejos y nuevos talentos musicales de la talla de Tadeo, Pablo Bolívar, HD Substance, Djorvin Clain, Deep´s Edayar, Retronouveau, Havantepe, Stereovirus aka Dosem y muchos más, compartirán su pasión por lo que consideran música de calidad y abierta estilísticamente.

Con muchos guiños al buen dub pero sin estancarse ahí, Overflow crea un discurso sonoro que va más allá de las modas que nos rodean y nos saturan los oídos.

Durante el mes de enero y febrero el colectivo está preparando una serie de fiestas de presentación que tendrán como protagonistas a Djorvin, Tadeo y Alienata, esta última el alma mater del sello que se encarga de dirigir el sonido del mismo. En próximas semanas se comunicarán las fechas de estas fiestas.
